On July 11, the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and China Chengtong signed a framework cooperation agreement in Nanjing to jointly establish the Chengtong Science Innovation (Jiangsu) Fund with a scale of RMB 10 billion.

At the signing ceremony, Nanjing Innovation Investment Group, as one of the key investors of the fund, signed the agreement alongside China Chengtong Group, the Jiangsu Provincial Strategic Emerging Industries Mother Fund, and the Jiangbei New Area High-Quality Mother Fund. This investment represents the Investment Group’s implementation of Nanjing’s "4+N" industrial fund cluster strategy and a key initiative to leverage national-level capital in serving local industries. Moving forward, the Investment Group will facilitate the aggregation of high-quality resources into Nanjing’s strategic emerging industries through capital linkages.
The establishment of the Chengtong Science Innovation (Jiangsu) Fund reflects the deep integration of central enterprise capital with local economic and scientific research resources. The fund will focus on the forefront of global industry competition, fully leveraging its role as a "probe" and "extension" to break through bottlenecks in capital investment, institutional mechanisms, and resource integration within strategic emerging industries.
Primarily engaged in direct investments, the Chengtong Science Innovation (Jiangsu) Fund will capitalize on Jiangsu Province’s solid foundation and innovative advantages in strategic emerging industries such as new materials, advanced manufacturing, next-generation information technology, and new energy. It will precisely guide capital toward innovation sources, providing financial support for early- to mid-stage technology projects and industrialization initiatives. As an investor, Nanjing Innovation Investment Group will serve as a local resource hub, promoting precise alignment between the fund and Nanjing’s key industrial systems. It will also provide matching policy and site support for projects, accelerating the formation of a "technology-capital-industry" closed loop.
