Recently, Zhejiang BrainCo Technology Co., Ltd. (“BrainCo”), an enterprise invested by Beijing Guoxiang Shangheng Equity Investment Fund Partnership (L.P.) (“Guoxiang Beijing Fund”), a sub-fund partnered with Nanjing Xinxuneng No.1 Venture Capital Partnership (L.P.)—the S-fund under Nanjing Innovation Investment Group—announced the completion of a financing round of approximately 2 billion RMB.This marks the world’s second-largest financing round in the brain-computer interface (BCI) sector, following only Neuralink owned by Elon Musk.
Investors include renowned institutions such as IDG, Walden International, Lens Technology, Lingyi iTech, Will Semiconductor, Runze Technology, Huazhu Group, and TAL Education Group, as well as top family offices from Hong Kong SAR of China, the United States, and other regions.

Founded in 2015 by Harvard alumnus Han Bicheng, BrainCo is known as one of the “Hangzhou Six Little Dragons” alongside Game Science, DeepSeek, Yushu Technology, and other tech enterprises. The company focuses on R&D in brain-computer interface technologies and has obtained US FDA certification and EU CE certification, making it one of the global BCI enterprises with the largest R&D investment.Its products have been named among Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of the Year, and BrainCo is one of the very few companies worldwide to achieve mass production of BCI products.
As the first unicorn in China’s brain-computer interface sector, BrainCo is committed to breakthroughs in underlying BCI technologies. By establishing signal transmission pathways and enabling information exchange between the brain and external devices, the company provides solutions for rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, autism, and other brain-related disorders. Multiple products have already been launched commercially.
