CASILICON (Nanjing) Intelligent Technology Completes New Financing Round, a Direct-Invested Enterprise of Nanjing Venture Capital Group
March 2, 2026

Recently, CASILICON (Nanjing) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (“CASILICON” or the “Company”), a direct-invested enterprise of Nanjing Venture Capital Group, announced the completion of a new strategic financing round. The round was led by Huakong Fund, with joint investment from Nanjing Venture Capital Group, Taiya Capital, and Beijing Future Science City Fund.

The proceeds will be mainly used for two key purposes:First, to advance the mass production and delivery of the Casia Hand series of industrial-grade dexterous hands, breaking through capacity bottlenecks to meet the urgent demand for highly reliable dexterous operation capabilities in industrial sorting, household services, special operations and other scenarios.Second, to continuously iterate the embodied intelligence “large & small brain” collaborative model, deepen the software-hardware integrated technical path, and accelerate the commercialization closure of general human-like operation capabilities in typical scenarios.

Founded in 2023, CASILICON is a hard-tech enterprise incubated from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences — China’s “national team” in embodied intelligence. It focuses on the R&D and industrialization of general human-like dexterous manipulation technologies and full-stack solutions.

The company has built a complete technical system covering “complete machine — core components — algorithm models — application scenarios”. It has launched the Casia Hand product matrix of industrial-grade dexterous hands, including four differentiated products:
  • 3-finger bionic hand for home services

  • High-speed industrial hand for precision assembly in 3C electronics (joint angular velocity up to 720°/s, service life exceeding one million cycles)

The series made its debut at the 2025 World Robot Congress. With 100% domestic core components, multi-scenario adaptability and world-leading performance indicators, CASILICON has formed a serialized, standardized and scenario-based product system for dexterous hands.
Relying on full-stack independent R&D capabilities, CASILICON has won many authoritative international and domestic awards, including the Gold Medal of the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, Red Dot Design Award, and Chappock Technology Innovation Award. It has been featured in special reports by CCTV for two consecutive years and obtained key international market access certifications such as EU CE and North American FCC. Its technical maturity and product reliability have been widely verified.
A relevant person in charge from Investment Department IV of Nanjing Venture Capital Group stated that, as the “last centimeter” actuator for fine manipulation by humanoid robots, dexterous hands are among the key core components urgently needing breakthroughs in China.
In the process of embodied intelligence advancing toward Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), high-degree-of-freedom, high-robustness upper-limb operation capabilities are the core support for in-depth interaction with the physical world in the “perception – decision – execution” closed loop.
CASILICON not only has full-chain independent R&D capabilities from underlying hardware to high-level intelligent models, but also demonstrates unique technical advantages in the evolution from “specialized dexterity” to “general manipulation”.
By participating in this round through the Zijin Xinchuang Fund and Nanjing Future Industry Angel Fund under management, Nanjing Venture Capital Group recognizes the key value of this local hard-tech enterprise in breaking through bottlenecks and serving the national intelligent manufacturing strategy.
We look forward to CASILICON accelerating the development of benchmark applications, deeply integrating into Nanjing’s “4266” industrial system, and helping China seize a global commanding height in the embodied intelligence track.
