Since its launch in 2006, the "China Chip" Excellent Product Selection Activity has been successfully held for 20 sessions. As one of the most influential and authoritative industry events in China's integrated circuit sector, it is also hailed as the "vane" leading the development of China's integrated circuit products and technologies. Aimed at showcasing the latest products, technological innovations and application achievements in China's integrated circuit field, the event has received widespread attention and support from the industry.

The award-winning VPS820 large format image sensor chip is a new product launched by VIPSEMI in 2025, mainly targeting the monitoring needs of long-distance, wide-range and multi-target in modern security systems. With an ultra-high resolution of 250 million pixels and an ultra-small pixel size of 1.4 microns, the chip can capture more micro-details while presenting a wide-range picture, providing a global perspective supplementary solution for traditional monitoring. It demonstrates significant advantages in applications such as urban security, coastal and border defense monitoring, traffic monitoring, forest protection, bridge inspection and power patrol. The chip supports 16 independent ROI (Region of Interest) functions, allowing users to read sensor information from any arbitrary area, thereby significantly reducing the amount of information read. It can continuously observe targets through a single frame and achieve synchronous tracking of multiple targets, providing new ideas for control solutions in fields such as large-scale event security, emergency prevention and control, and anti-drone operations.

This award marks the second time VIPSEMI's chip products have been honored, following the VPS600 lensless microscopic imaging chip winning the "China Chip" "Xinhuo Emerging Product" award in 2024, reflecting the industry's recognition of the innovation of VIPSEMI's products and technologies.
