("Thunderbird Innovation"), an investee of Nanjing Huatai Zijin Emerging Industry Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) ("Huatai Zijin Emerging Industry Fund")—a cooperative sub-fund of Nanjing Innovation Investment Group—announced the completion of its Series C+ financing. This round was led by CITICS Jinshi, with participation from CITICS Securities International Capital and CITICS Securities Investment. The financing has set a new record for the largest single financing amount in China's AI+AR glasses sector in 2025. The funds raised will be used to accelerate technological R&D and ecosystem development in AI+AR glasses, further consolidating and expanding Thunderbird Innovation's leading position in the global consumer-grade AI+AR glasses market.

The fund manager, Huatai Zijin, is a professional private equity investment platform under Huatai Securities. Leveraging Huatai Securities' full business chain advantages, it has built an "investment + investment banking" capital service model to provide one-stop financial and capital services to portfolio companies. The fund invested RMB 30 million in Thunderbird Innovation in March 2024. Post-investment, it actively assisted the company in accessing industrial resources and securing subsequent financing, comprehensively supporting the enterprise's accelerated development.
